Desa Seni are very pleased at having been voted one of the best new hotels in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, May 2007.  All of our houses are original homes from all the over the archipelago of Indonesia.  Each house is unique and different.  While offering all the modern comforts of home in an original village setting, one will feel and experience the culture of Indonesia.

Desa Seni, as a cultural village, offers a wide range of accommodations all of which are individual antique houses with beautiful terraces, sitting areas and private modern bathrooms.
The interior of each unique house has been individually re-furbished to provide all the necessary luxury and comfort, while the exteriors have retained the integrity of rural village life.
Desa Seni offers from one bedroom village houses up to deluxe 2 bedroom village homes with kitchens. The traditional rice field setting and the authenticity of the cultural village, with all the modern amenities and services, ensures a truly unique and memorable experience.

Accommodations
Desa Seni offers unique accommodations in original antique wood homes that have been imported from the many islands of Indonesia. Each house has its own individual history and has been completely restored and refurbished. Desa Seni has hosted weddings, art retreats, yoga retreats, hen’s days, benefits and Body Talk.  As a retreat/function center, we are able to custom cater to one’s needs and desires.  Let us be a part of your next event!  Fun!  Creative!  Original!

YOGA!  UNITY!

We are very excited to have developed an extensive yoga schedule offering a variety of different styles, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Dynamic Asanas.  We offer yoga twice a day.  
Desa Seni has also launched the first of its kind in Bali, One day yoga retreats, held once a month on Sunday. These retreats focus on wellness and yoga through food, art, dance and music.  Please check our web site for the next event to be held in August. Along with our regular schedule, we now offer yoga every Sunday at 4:00 o’clock, Sad Angga Yoga with Pak Nyoman.  This class will be taught in Indonesian.  This class is a community service class, free for all.  Please invite your staff or anyone you may know who is Indonesian and has the desire to learn, breathe and connect mind, body and spirit.

RESTAURANT RUMAH MAKAN!

Rumah Makan, our restaurant/warung is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Our menu is an eclectic mix of European food with an Asian influence.  We focus on a healthy, well balanced diet, using most of the produce from our own organic gardens.  One does not need a reservation to come and visit Desa Seni.  We now have a poolside snack menu for those who want to enjoy a lighter meal, swim and or glass of wine.  A great meeting place for sunset.
 
MERAPU SPA!

Our Merapu spa, provides the traditional to the not so traditional.  If one wants to experience a village surrounding, get away from the hustle and bustle of it all, come to Desa Seni.  The whole village has been designed to be a spa. Nestled in the rice fields with organic gardens, rustic natural landscaping, running water and sea breezes, it is very easy to unwind.  Treatments are available in our Merapu house, or outdoors in our bale pavilions.  The spa is open to guests from the outside.
